ADVOCACY & CAMPAIGN TRAINING( ACT)
Since 2003, the CBCI’s training workshops have trained tomorrow’s political leaders and armed them with the expertise to succeed and impact all areas of civic engagement, from school board to national office. This non-partisan, interactive training features cutting edge workshops in leadership, communication, fundraising and voter engagement. The pinnacle of this program is the campaign simulation in which participants fill specific roles required to develop and lead a candidate or ballot initiative campaign. Today there are more than 600 graduates utilizing their skills on campaigns and as leaders in their communities.
CBCI has partnered with the Walton Family Foundation to offer an ACT Workshop in February 8-9, 2019 in New Orleans.
