CBCI will offer an Advocacy and Campaign Training (ACT) Workshop in Charleston, SC on February 22, 2020. This ACT Workshop will target future leaders who are passionate about civic engagement and advocacy, including those interested in education policy and improving access to high quality educational opportunities for all Americans. Program graduates will receive ongoing training and development through a new alumni program.

Since 2003, the CBCI’s training workshops have trained tomorrow’s political leaders and armed them with the expertise to succeed and impact all areas of civic engagement, from school board to national office. This nonpartisan, interactive training features cutting edge workshops in leadership, communication, fundraising and voter engagement. The pinnacle of this program is the campaign simulation in which participants fill specific roles required to develop and lead a candidate or ballot initiative campaign. Today, there are more than 600 graduates utilizing their skills on campaigns and as leaders in their communities.

The training will take place on February 22, 2020.

This ACT Workshop will target future leaders who are passionate about civic engagement and advocacy, including those interested in education policy and improving access to high quality educational opportunities for all Americans.

The Charleston ACT Workshop is FREE for accepted participants.

If you have participated in CBCI training (ACT or Boot Camp) you are not eligible to apply for our training programs for 1 year.
