Lewis L. McKinney

With nearly 30 years of experience in government affairs for a large, multi-national corporation, Lewis L. McKinney, Jr. has a national reputation as an expert in legislative and political affairs and community development policy.

McKinney is the founder of the Corporate Affairs Group. The Corporate Affairs Group offers clients innovative solutions to complex business problems in the public and private sectors. Lewis uses his broad base of experience to help clients drive profit and maximize corporate image and community influence.

Prior to founding the Corporate Affairs Group, Lewis worked as an executive in the private sector for more than 28 years. Most recently, McKinney served as a Regional Vice President of Government Affairs at Anheuser -Busch Companies, Inc. During his tenure at Anheuser-Busch, McKinney represented the company in more than thirty states and the District of Columbia. In addition, McKinney worked with local, state and federal trade and industry groups on behalf of Anheuser-Busch.

McKinney is a member of the St. Louis University Sports Hall of Fame and played professional basketball in the United States and France. He brings the discipline and competitive spirit that he developed on the basketball court to the boardrooms of corporate America. He is driven to succeed and is a proven winner.

McKinney has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Louis University and attended the University of St. Etienne in France.

As a member of the Ashcroft Group network of advisors, McKinney will work with many early stage companies within the Ashcroft portfolio of companies. McKinney serves as a director on numerous boards and commissions. He will primarily work out of the St. Louis office, but will frequently be in the Washington DC area.
