
Angela Riemer serves as Senior Director, Federal Government Relations for Wyeth, one of the world's largest research-driven pharmaceutical and health care products companies. Angela began health policy work at Medco Health Solutions as a director in that company's government affairs division. She joined Medco after serving as Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus Political Action Committee (CBC PAC) for the 2004 election cycle, which saw the CBC expand to 43 members. Before that, Angela was marketing manager for start-up City First Bank of D.C. She started her career at Prudential Financial where she became a director in government affairs.
Angela has served as a National Vice Chair of the Women’s Leadership Forum of the Democratic National Committee and was the Deputy Director of Women’s Outreach for the Gore/Lieberman presidential campaign in 2000 . She raises funds for the Democratic party and various political candidates. She is a trustee of St. Paul’s School for Girls in Baltimore, Maryland. She also serves on the Board of Directors for NARAL Pro-Choice America and the Congressional Black Caucus Institute. Angela is a graduate of Princeton University. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband Hans Riemer.
